Marshfield - Club scenes from the Marshfield restaurant Hanabi will be part of a television pilot called “Destination Matters,” which will premiere at Hanabi, located at 804 Plain St., on Monday, June 29, at 7:30 p.m.
Independent filmmaker Daniel Gonzalez, 23, said he hopes television networks will eventually pick up the show. In the meantime, besides showing at Hanabi, the 45-minute pilot episode will also show at the Cucalorus Film Festival in North Carolina. Gonzalez said the show was appropriate for people ages 13 and over.
Gonzalez said he learned of Hanabi from the show’s makeup artist, Marshfield resident Ellen House, and the crew came for a day of filming in late May.... read more
